Scott is a Professor of Psychology, University of Richmond.  He has published over 100 articles and authored numerous books on heroism and leadership, including 'Heroes' and 'Heroic Leadership'.  His work has been featured in USA Today, NY Times, LA Times, NPR, and Psychology Today, among others.  He has received Richmond's Distinguished Educator Award and the Virginia Council of Higher Education's Outstanding Faculty Award.
