27 - Riding Around the World on an Adventure Bike with Chris Donaldson

This week I spoke with Chris Donaldson about his experiences riding around the world on an adventure bike. Chris left Belfast in 1979 with the original plan to ride to Australia, but he never made it, ending up in Argentina nearly 2 years later. He rode across the Sahara desert, travelled through Africa to Cape Town, where I hitched a ride on a yacht race back to Europe. I then went to the USA and rode from Canada south through Central America and South America to Buenos Aires. 42 years later, he finally finished his ride to Australia on the same Moto Guzzi. We also cover a few adventure bike news stories that really boil my blood.
